We've got soccer posters featuring all the soccer greats, both in the States and abroad. Mia Hamm soccer posters. Pele soccer posters. David Beckam soccer posters. And more:
Thierry Henry. During almost every season Henry was with Arsenal Football Club, he topped the club's list of goal-scorers. By the end of his time with Arsenal, he had scored a staggering 226 goals for the club. Then in 2006, he led them to the UEFA Champions League final. Today, Henry plays for FC Barcelona and the France national team.
Ronaldinho. Though his name is Portuguese for "Little Ronaldo," there's nothing little about this footballer's style of play. At 13 years old his tem beat a local team in his native Brazil, scoring 23 goals. The final score? 23-0. Today Ronaldinho plays for Italian club A.C. Milan.
Landon Donovan. Currently on loan to the Bayern Munich team of Germany from the Los Angeles Galaxy, Donovan is the only five-time winner of Honda's Player of the Year award, given to the best player on the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team each year, and chosen by the national sports media. In his first season with the Galaxy, he scored 12 league goals and 10 assists.
Abby Wambach. During her senior year of high school at Our Lady of Mercy near Rochester, NY, Abby Wambach was named Player of the Year by both Umbro and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Things only got better from there: After playing with the WUSA team the Washington Freedom, she went on to play for the U.S. Women's National Team in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Scheduled to play in the 2008 summer games, a broken left leg kept her from going to Beijing. Currently, Wambach is back with the Washington Freedom.
